Large Vintage Teal Aqua Green French Demijohn / Carboy

About the Item

French Demijohn / Carboy originally used for transporting wine (early 20th Century, France). Composed of 'blown-to-mold' glass (a method accepted as 'hand-blowing') aqua/teal glass exhibiting a smattering of bubbles/lines within the glass itself with an applied thick ring. Large size, measuring roughly 14.63" diameter x 21" height. Very good condition given its age. It has been cleaned, but light wear remains (scratches to the neck's interior along with a couple of spots). There are a couple of deep lines toward the base that result from the glass being melded together (not damage).
