A beautifully cast and unusually tall, large and heavy mid-19th Century bronze ceremonial holy water decanter from Nepal. This truly graceful design features a gorgeous patina, emphasizing it's many years of use in a Buddhist temple. This is a remarkably attractive display piece, but actually handling this decanter and feeling it's shape and weight gives a real sense of the history and spirituality of this holy water container. From the Himalayan Mountains of Nepal, this object truly conveys conveys a sense of place and purpose.
