About the Item

An antique Japanese enamel footed incense burner, Ota Kichisaburo School, Meiji period, 1868 to 1912. The lobed body is adorned with a polychrome design representing panels with blossoming flowers and sakura trees made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck is decorated with polychrome foliage, foliate scroll and floral ornaments made in the same technique. The ware features a pair of curved handles. The incense burner is adorned with floral and foliate scroll motifs, on the bottom. Unmarked. Asian and Oriental Enamel Incense Burners, Desk Wares, Home Decor, Interior Design, and Collectibles. Dimensions: Height is 4 in. All measurements are approximate. Condition Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Small dent on the body. Refer to photos.
