About the Item

Sharing with you this saucer dish or pattipan of heart shape on a similar shaped footring. On the base some spur-marks. Decorated in underglaze blue with a Dutch river scene showing a sailing-boat, a quay with two figures and moored boats, a man in a row-boat, and a church tower in the background. Round the rim a dark blue border. The reverse is plain, on the base a six-character Chenghua mark. Similar dish pictured in; CJA Jorg - Fine and Curious page 245 Condition Perfect. Size 12.2x11.5x2CM
