This is an antique jardiniere stand. A Japanese, bronze planter stand or side table, dating to the Edo period, circa 1850. Wonderfully ornate jardiniere stand with strong antique Japanese taste Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order Strikingly tapered bronze presents pleasingly weathered tones Decorated with finely detailed dragon and crane relief Encircling the lower half, the long, sinuous dragon enhanced with detailed scales Generously sized top finished with a chased vine motif of scrolled forms This is a superb antique jardiniere stand, ideally suited to collectors of Japanese period furniture. From the late Edo period (1603-1868), this planter stand or side table will enhance any room and offer a striking accompaniment. Delivered polished and ready to enjoy.
