Art Deco Ceramic Planter with Glazed Faces by Aksel Hansen
About the Item
A piece unique planter or jardiniere by the Danish ceramist and artist Aksel Hansen. Made in his own studio in Denmark circa 1940-50. It features two androgynous faces in relief - one to each side. It is executed in white and green glazes. The white glaze is delicate and thin leaving the edges/facets partially exposed. Signed AH beneath its base. It would make such a special and stylish gift for a loved one.
