Contemporary Anodised Aluminium Planter / Vessel Multi-Coloured

About the Item

Hand-anodised aluminium planter sized 67cm x 76 cm (D X H). Two different patterns available. For the launch of MCQ’s icon GROW UP, I designed 15 + 1 AP oversized planters to be placed in their stores across America, Asia and the United Kingdom. In collaboration with Santa-Barbara-based aluminium manufacturer Neal Feay I experimentally anodised the pieces by hand in colours and a tie-dye style inspired by the GROW UP collection and rolled and bolted them into their circular shape.

The Golden Lane sideboard was originally created as a commission for a flat in London's brutalist Golden Lane estate and takes inspiration from its colour blocking facade. With this sideboard / credenza Tino Seubert continues his exploration in the world of industrial aluminium extrusions and uses their slots as sliding rails for the doors laminated in colourful Formica. The measurements are 40cm x 170cm x 65cm (W x L x H), feet height 15cm, but are fully customisable. Further levels of storage can be added. Custom colour anodised aluminium...
