Vintage Louis XV Repousse Bronze Oval Jardinière Center Piece with Zinc Liner
About the Item
This elegant bronze jardinière with repousse motifs was created in Italy, circa 1990. The oblong vintage planter dressed with side handles, sits on small curved feet decorated with acanthus leaf motifs, over a scalloped apron embellished with shell and floral decor; it is further decorated with a large shell motif in high relief in the center. The oval bombe planter is further dressed with the original removable zinc liner. The Louis XV style jardiniere is in excellent condition and adorns a beautiful gilt finish throughout. Use this impressive flower vessel filled with fruit or flowers to embellish a dining room table or buffet surface.
