Italian Pair of Wood Candle Lamp Urns with Carved Bird Handles, 19th Century

About the Item

A pair of Italian carved-wood urns, with single candlestick, in bird motif, from the 19th century. These antique single-candlestick holders from Italy each feature three-dimensionally carved urn, with fluted embellishments, and having two handles flanking each side in the shape of a bird. Each urn is raised upon a stacked square base, with arched cut-out along each side. These pieces have a lovely aged patina and an old silver chippy paint finish. This 19th century pair of Italian bird-carved wood candlestick urns will be fabulous decorative objects for your home or office.
