About the Item

A large scale 19th Century English Country House garden or orangery cast iron classical urn. After the antique Townley Vase. The urn is of krater form and retains it original wrought iron display liner. In it's original condition with a gentle rusted and waxed patina, with remnants of old green paint. Offered in first class order with no cracks or breaks. Circa 1830.
