Neoclassical Coffee Samovar Urn. Antique English dark patinated metal urn-form samovar for tea or coffee in the neoclassical taste featuring a classic urn form body with a sphinx knop lid, griffin headed and ringed handles above deep reservoir basin issuing an operable spigot all supported by four lion mask medallions above tapered paneled legs terminating in lion paw feet on a pierced warming tray supported by spherical feet. England or France, early 19th century. Dimensions: 18” tall x 12.5" wide x 13" deep to tip of spout; body is 11" long x 9" wide x 8" deep.
