Pair of French Mid-19th Century Napoleon III Period Ormolu Tazzas

About the Item

A stunning pair of French mid 19th century Napoleon III period ormolu tazzas. Each tazza is raised on an ebony mottled base with a Boulle tortoiseshell and etched brass inlay column above. The finely chased ormolu tazza with scrolled design support adorned with blossoming flowers. Above are scrolled handles joined by a garland of foliate and shells. All original gilt.
