Vintage Artisanal Silver Urn
About the Item
A one-of-a-kind hand-crafted silver urn using the Repousse method of hammered design. Unusually large size and excellent condition. Probably mid-to-late 20th century from Spain or Mexico. The hammered motif is of alternating grape-cluster and leaf patterns.
Given its generous size and strong presence, this is a multi-functional piece that could be used on a dining table, hall table, as an elegant planter or even as a punch bowl for the holidays or a festive Spring gathering.
This type of urn in scale and style is rare to find.
