About the Item

1900-1920s pair of majolica vases by Mengaroni, Pesaro, Italy. Decorated in the Renaissance manner with white tracery & multicolored florets on light blue ground with mustard borders. Ferruccio Mengaroni was crushed to death by his massive majolica Medusa in 1925. Minor original glaze pops. 6.75" h., 4" dia.
