Superb in both size and artistry, this big, measuring 38 cm in height, Canton famille porcelain vase hails from the 19th-century era of Napoleon III. Adorned with a plethora of captivating palace scenes, it tells tales of China's imperial splendour. The aesthetic appeal of this vase is further enhanced by a stunning and elaborate rocaille-style gilt bronze mount, covering the entire height of the vase. Its handles, linked by cascading embellishments from neck to base, add to its opulent yet delicate allure. With its beautiful gilding and exquisite engraving, this vase remains in very good condition. It is signed on the bottom.
