About the Item

Antique Awaji pottery vase with spiky leaves bent to support a central "stalk" or "stem." Covered overall with a warm yellow monochrome crackle glaze. Hand turned with applied leaves. Circa 1920. 12 1/8" high, 5 1/2" diameter. Several glaze irregularities, no damage, as shown.
