Antique Awaji Pottery Large Dragon Vase with Kintsugi Gold Tracery

About the Item

Large Awaji Pottery dragon vase in unusual and dramatic form with yellow flambe glaze. Circa 1920's. The dragon curling around the wide, flaring neck of the vase. The body of the vase has been repaired using Kintsugi, the Japanese art of beautifying a damage with lacquer and pure gold powder. 17" high, 14" diameter.
