Antique French Cobalt Blue Enamelled Vase with Gilt Bronze Pedestal Base

About the Item

This antique vase is unsigned, but presumed to have originated from France and date to approximately 1920 and done in a period style. The vase is composed of brass with a vibrant cobalt blue enamelling from the top, turning to a silver turquoise in the middle of the body which accents the ornate engraved decoration. The vase stands on an ornately cast bronze footed base with a gilt finish.
