About the Item
An antique Japanese late Meiji era vase of a baluster shape with a narrow fluted neck. The metal vase is adorned with a polychrome image of a dragon made in the Cloisonne technique on a bright turquoise ground. The base is adorned with a geometric pattern made in the same technique. The neck features a stylized ornament using the same technique. Circa the late 19th century to early 20th century.
