About the Item

An antique Japanese, late Meiji era, Ginbari enamel over copper vase. The urn shaped vase is enameled with a polychrome image of blossoming flowers on the light blue ground made in the Ginbari Cloisonne technique. Ginbari is a Japanese cloisonne technique when clear enamel is laid over a stippled silver layer applied to the copper sheet body. Marked on the bottom. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Vases, Table Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles. Dimensions: H 3 1/2 in. All measurements are approximate. Condition Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Some scuffs and scratches. Slight stains and dents.Refer to photos.
