This sophisticated and beautifully colored Art Deco Cubist Ceramic Vase W/Hummingbird in Multicolor Linear Glazing is signed Amphora and originates from Czechoslovakia, Circa 1930. Features a lovely organe hue in a texturaly achieved ceramic finish with a beatifully classical form and a tapered neck lined with alternating blue and organge repeting rectangles. Each distinct shape is lined with subtle burnt umber grooves, beautifully seperating the colors and allowing them to be observed next to one another in harmony. The center of the vase has a band full of natural detail and a beautifully rendered hummingbird. With cobalt blue on the rim and base of the vase, this piece is a stunning example of Art Deco ceramics, charming and beautifully fashioned. This Amphora Vase will style effortlessly in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
