Striking blue, mouthblown controlled bubble art glass vase with decorative black eyes with clear middle resembling the eyes on peacock feathers. Designed and handmade by acclaimed Swedish art glass designer Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda in the 1960s. Clear foot and encased translucent blue glass that seems to shine when sunlight hits it. A beautiful Swedish midcentury piece from Vallien's Cirrus series in beautiful vintage condition with two minor smudges from production - see closeups. Sweden, 1960s.
