Blue and Green Crystaline Glazed Pierced Teardrop Vase

$650per item

About

Inspired by Mid-Century Modern design, the vase is wheel thrown and hand pierced stoneware with a crystaline satin glaze. The glaze is slow cooled to allow crystal formations to grow in the surface of the glaze. Because of this, glaze results may vary. Small holes are created when the clay is still wet and then each hole is painstakingly enlarged and smoothed when the clay is bone dry. The interplay of light and shadow, color and form complements any urban, contemporary, craftsman, or transitional space. It can stand on it's own or can be used for a large flower arrangement.

Customization Options

This piece can be made to custom sizes. A Blue/ Purple crystaline glaze is also available. It can also be finished with a simple white satin glaze.
