About the Item

Blue ceramic vase with white ribbon, made by Zaccagnini in the 1950s Ø cm 14 h cm 40 Ugo Zaccagnini is a name that resonates in the field of Italian ceramics, inextricably linked to the production of high quality majolica and ceramics. Born in 1868, Zaccagnini dedicated his life to the creation of unique works, characterized by technical mastery and refined aesthetic taste. Zaccagnini began his career at the famous Richard-Ginori manufactory, where he acquired a solid technical and artistic education. In 1905, together with other master ceramists, they decided to found their own factory, "Ugo Zaccagnini & Figli", in Sesto Fiorentino. The style of production is characterized by a strong link with the Tuscan tradition, with references to the Della Robbia ceramics. His works stand out for the refinement of the decorations, the liveliness of the colors and the attention to detail. Zaccagnini ceramics are enjoying great success internationally, participating in numerous exhibitions and fairs. Ugo Zaccagnini's legacy is still alive and well today. His works are sought after by collectors all over the world and represent an invaluable heritage for Italian artistic craftsmanship.
