Brutalist Icelandic Lava Vase by Glit HF, 1970s

About the Item

HF Gilt is a renowned Icelandic ceramic pottery studio. The clay used in this piece is made from pumice stone collected from Icelandic volcanos. The texture partially decorated with vibrant blue glaze is also created using real lava collected from the perimeter of an active volcano. The Vase is signed Glit, Iceland. Measurements: H: 8 cm, Diameter: 8 cm.
