Celestial Rebirth
About the Item
Sculpted and glazed using a special firing technique called Raku, an ancient Japanese method where the object undergoes high heat and is fired in an oxygen-deprived environment, with the addition of color materials. This creates unique cracks and color effects. The colors of light blue and black flow harmoniously, with black cracks naturally blending in, symbolizing the transition between earth and sky. The vase embodies continuous growth, the life emerging from the earth, and the celestial aspiration for infinite renewal, much like a tree rooted in the earth yet always striving to reach the heavens. The name ‘Celestial Rebirth’ represents the mysterious process of renewal, the deep connection between what is and what seeks to be. Every detail in this artwork resonates with the balance between the past and the present, and the constant yearning for growth and blossoming.
