About the Item

Vase and small matching dish from the workshop of Soren Kongstrand. These pieces are designed by his colleague and apprentice Jens Petersen. Both are unique pieces from circa 1935 and signed JP. Experimental glazes: metallic/copper based luster glazes burnt and applied several times in the artistic process. In Denmark both Soren Kongstrand and Jens Petersen are considered masters along names as Axel Salto, Arne Bang and Bode Willumsen.
