About the Item
Unique contemporary white ceramic big vase EZ Vase by Laura molina (Todomuta).
This sculptural flower vase4450 is an exploration of Eva Zeisel’s imagery, a gradual assimilation of the codes defining her design work. The author didn’t aim to imitate Zeisel but rather sought to understand her perspective and develop her own. This process involved working with Zeisel’s curved sections, ultimately arriving at the organic forms and clean volumes that are characteristic of the author. They also shared Zeisel’s preference for white-finished ceramics, emphasizing the deceptive simplicity that defines Zeisel’s playful mastery.
BIO
Laura Molina, born in 1974 in Alicante, Spain, began her career in sculpture and graphic art. Later, she transitioned into roles within public institutions and private companies linked to art, creation, and cultural heritage. Notably, she served as the director of artistic interventions at General de Producciones y Diseño S.A. for four years. In 2011, her passion for objects led to the co-founding of Todomuta Studio with designer and photographer Sergio Herrera.
