"Circlet" Vase, McStay Jackson for Trent Art China, White, Art Deco 1935-1942

About the Item

"Circlet" Vase was designed by G. McStay Jackson (1898-1964) for Trent Art China (TAC), a division of Trenton Potteries in 1935. The Circlet series of vases, an iconic example of classic American Art Deco design, was made of porcelain in various solid colors; the series was manufactured from 1935 to 1942. Museum of Fine Arts Boston (MFA) currently has one Circlet vase in its collection. The vase is marked with stamp "TAC The Trenton Potteries Trenton NJ" on the bottom. It is in excellent vintage condition.
