Adèle Clèves was born in Paris in 1989, after studying in the Beaux Arts and Archeology at the Sorbonne, she specialized in ceramic creations.
Inspired by the Wabi Zabi aesthetic as defined by Leonard Koren and various aesthetic aspects of In Praise of Shadows by Jun'ichiro Tanizaki; Adèle Clèves shapes ceramics marked by an organic imperfectness and harmonious distorsions.
Her works are part of prestigious private collections in Paris, London, New York and Dusseldorf.
This ceramic is part of her new collection entitled Morandi in homage to Giorgio Morandi's intimate still life paintings.
