Czecholovakian Art Deco Hand Crafted Cream and Umber Ceramic Vase by Royal Crown

About the Item

This elegant Art Deco ceramic vase was realized by the esteemed atelier of Royal Crown in Czechoslovakia circa 1930. Suggesting a modern interpretation of the classic Greek amphora vase, the piece offers a rotund spherical body sitting on an banded circular umber toned base. Two streamlined supports- also in a rich umber hue- connect the shoulders of the vase to the conical channeled neck- also in a rich umber hue. With its clean modernist lines and beautiful craftsmanship for which Czechoslovakia was renowned during this period, this piece is sure to delight discerning collectors of first rate ceramics as well as those with a penchant for perennially modern and stunning objects. While this is a perfectly functional vase- ideal for storing flowers- it is also an objet d'art in its own right that promises to beautify any surface that it graces. It is signed "Royal Crown Czechoslovakia" and is in excellent vintage condition. Czechoslovakia, circa 1930 Dimensions: Height: 9.5" x Width: 8" x Depth: 5"
