About the Item

A fine Daum Frères Vase with Coreopsis flowers, made in Nancy, France circa 1914. This example of French cameo glass, was mottled with glass powder, cased with an overlay, then acid etched and enameled. It is a particular bright and crisp example of this pattern with a lot of detail, and a good size and shape. These pleasing enameled vessels by the Daum brothers are sought after internationally and of museum quality and part of the most refined and exceptional collections. The vase is signed on the side in enamel "Daum Nancy" with the addition "France".
