About
A rare piece, probably a one-off or limited production piece.
This type of form by Cressey was usually made into a lamp. But this one does not have any drill holes for a plug and is unusually large. It's designed as a vase, and does not have a water drain hole either.
Made of reduction fired stoneware with his own "formula clay" and a beautiful azure mat glaze.
No chips, cracks or repairs..
