Elahev – A Vase Born from Fire, Open to Love

About the Item

I hand-sculpted this vase with deep connection to the material and the moment. After shaping it, I took it through a unique firing process called Anagama—a powerful experience that lasted several days. During this time, the flames embraced it, heated it, and transformed it in unexpected ways, leaving behind traces of smoke, ash, and life itself. Its name, “Elahev”, is a fusion of the Hebrew words for divine (“Elohi”) and love (“Ahav”)—a blend of the spiritual and the emotional, the transcendent and the human. Like infinite love, it underwent transformation through fire, becoming one of a kind. Its shape seems to open its arms to the world, both giving and receiving. It is like a living entity, unlocking all its chakras—rooted to the earth, pulsing with heart, and reaching toward infinity. Within its emptiness, there is space for every emotion, every memory, and every love. It is more than just a vessel—it is breath, it is a prayer, it is a flame that never fades.
