Ewald Dahlskog Blue Striped Ceramic Vase, Bobergs Fajansfabrik AB, Sweden, 1930s

About the Item

This refined ceramic vase was designed by Ewald Dahlskog and produced by Bobergs Fajansfabrik AB in Sweden in the 1930s. The model is numbered D367. This rare vase is executed in a gourd shape with subtle vertical decoration in relief. The earthenware finished with a beautiful, matte pale blue drip glaze. The particular way the ceramic has been glazed creates a wonderful and refined gradient effect. The vase is in very good condition, minimal wear consistent with age and use. Marked with model number, manufacturer and the artist's monogram signature on the underside of the foot.
