About the Item

Stunning flower vase of the famous manufacturer Thulin from Belgium, made in the 1930s. The vase is elaborately designed in form as in colourfulness. The round base rises into a raised, bulbous shape, with curves in the upper outlet. The vase has a masterfully executed run glaze in red, brown and light green in different shades. On the bottom you can read “Belgium”. Measurements approx.: height 8,66 in – 22 cm, diameter 3,15 in – 8 cm A very decorative flower vase from a famous manufacturer in a wonderful Art Deco shape from the 1930s. Rare vase, made in France in the 1920s with masterfully executed run glaze in earth tones. The compensated shape of the vase shows an upper round outlet surrounded by three specially designed handles. The spherical ceramic body is vertically notched three times, which gives wonderful plasticity. The entire surface of the vase is covered with run glaze - a masterful surface effect. The colors vary from different shades from brown to green to blue. The shape of the vase is modelled on ancient vessels from the Chinese / Asian area.
