About the Item

Four Miniature Vases by Gunnar Nylund for Rörstrand – 1950s–60s A beautiful set of four stoneware miniature vases by the Swedish designer Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) for Rörstrand, one of Sweden’s most renowned ceramics manufacturers. Each vase is glazed in earthy tones using Nylund’s signature hare’s fur glaze, which gives the surface a soft, textured, and subtly variegated finish. Every vase in the set has a unique shape and glaze, creating a group that is both harmonious and visually dynamic. All pieces are signed and marked on the base, representing excellent examples of Swedish mid-century studio ceramics at its finest. The tallest vase measures 8 cm, and the widest has a diameter of 5 cm. A must-have for collectors of Scandinavian design, Rörstrand, or 20th-century ceramics. Wear consistent with age and use
