German Mid-Century Drip Glazed Twin Handle Art Pottery Vase

About the Item

A very stylish German mid-century twin handled vase decorated with colored dripped glazes over a red and black glazed ground. This stunning vase is well potted and stands on a narrow round unglazed foot with slightly recessed red glazed base. With a round onion shaped body the vase a tall flared neck with graduating strap handles applied to either side of the neck. The body of the vase is decorated in bright red glazes with colored dripped glazes applied to the upper body and lower handles with mirror black glazes applied to the neck and further colored dripped glazes applied around the top. This very stylish and truly lovely vase is not marked. In good condition. German, although not marked.
