About the Item
A number of colored rectangles on perpendicular incised white lines over a
black glossy glaze background defines this Mid-Century Modern vase from
Üebelacker-Keramik also known as Ü-Keramik of Germany. The form, 455, from
1960, most likely created by Heinz Hommerich, art director during the
1950s-1960s. The design is almost identical to the Confetti Series by
Steuler from 1950. The inside if the vase with a glossy ocre glaze. Bottom
on relief W, GERMANY 455/60
