Group of 6 Brown Vases Ceramics, Rörstrand - Gunnar Nylund & Carl-Harry Stålhane

About the Item

A group of two vases designed by Gunnar Nylund and four vases by Carl-Harry Stålhane at Rörstrand in the 1950s and 1960s. The vases are between 6.5 - 25.5 cm high and in excellent condition. Two of the vases is 2nd quality and the rest is 1st quality. Three of the vases are unique vases by Carl-Harry Stålhane. Carl-Harry Stålhane is one of the top names when it comes to midcentury Scandinavian Ceramics. He was the artistic director of Rörstrand from 1950 until 1973. His sheer and elegant stoneware vases from the 1950s with speckled eggshell-like and harfur glazes in muted shades have received a marked increase in demand in recent years and are often included in international interiors and collection. His artworks are represented at MoMA in New York as well as Victorian and Albert Museum in London.
