Hildegard Storr Britz (1915-1982) Mid Century Modernist Oxblood stoneware Vase. The German potter wrote the comprehensive book "Ornament and Surfaces on Ceramics", circa 1977. This beauty stands approximately 10.75" high x 4.75" at its widest point. Nicely signed with impressed signature, Storr Britz.
Good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, hairlines, crazing or restorations.

ABOUT SCHEURICH
Scheurich was established by Alois Scheurich and Fridolin Greulich for glass and porcelain in 1928. In 1954 Scheurich KG Keramikfabrik commences production of ceramics with the first electrical tunnel kiln. Animal figures with built-in clocks were highly popular gift and decoration articles in the 1950s.
