About the Item
Very large mid-century Danish floor vase designed by Einar Johansen for Søholm Stentøj. Made ca 1960s.
The vase is handmade and made from stoneware. It has a front and back with impressed dot decor adding a lot of tactility. The glaze in beige, brown and green with a little blue makes the surface look very vivid.
It´s a heavy piece with a proud presence weighing more than 9 kg / 20 lbs.
Fully marked on bottom with Søholm stamp, handmade, EJ (for Einar Johansen) and model number
