About the Item

Important glazed ceramic "majolica wear" amphora vase on stand decorated with hand painted birds and foliage, inspired by late 19th century Japonesque style. The amphora is hand signed by the artist: E. Sreteep, the inside of the rim is stamped N. Etienne Paris. The amphora is supported by its original tripod ebonized carved wood stand. France, circa 1890.
