Italian Abstract Modernist Faceted Tall Red Berry Color Murano Glass Vase
About the Item
A bright berry red color curvy tall Murano glass vase. With a wide base, cinched top, and sprawling scalloped finger-like lip, this vessel is a true statement piece. The base is rounded, as is the entire vessel. Sculptural dips in the glass run throughout from top to bottom including the base where they protrude. The top of the vase is cinched and is topped with tall skinny shaped glass that reaches out like tentacles or fingers and is splayed.

Any Memphis style aficionado will cherish this bright bold berry color one of a kind vase. We imagine this piece against a bold background such as a blue lacquered wall. (Channeling Miles Redd!) Alternatively, it would make a great addition to garniture on a cocktail table or a dramatic focal point on a side, accent table or nightstand. (We especially love the idea of this vase sitting upon a marble or stone coffee table, beside a Royere or Giacometti style sofa.)
