Italian Scavo art glass vase, 1970s
About the Item
A handmade Murano art vase from Italy, 1970s/80s.
Possibly by Gambaro & Poggi, Murano.
The vase is made of green and blue glass, matte and rough on the outside and smooth on the inside.
With black upwardly curling ornaments.
The vase is finished with Scavo technique.
The "Scavo" technique imitates the effect of excavated ancient Roman glass.
Which gives an elegant and refined appearance like a piece of antiquity.
A high quality art vase.
