Italian Sterling Silver Embossed Vase
About the Item
Large and impressive embossed sterling silver vase.
The body of the vase is pot-bellied while the upper part ends with a very large mouth which allows the placement of a large bouquet of flowers.
An important embossed work has been created on the entire surface of the vase, depicting flowers and leaves, interspersed with volutes typical of the Baroque style.
Of the entire structure of the vase, only the upper part ending with the opening for placing the flowers and the lower base where a step has been made which allows the vase to rise slightly from the support surface have remained shiny.
Once the embossment was made, a delicate work of engraving and knurling made it possible to highlight the skill with which this vase was made. Perfect balances between flowers, leaves and spirals, plays of brilliance and burnishing.
If perfection is seen in the details, this vase has all the characteristics to be defined as a masterpiece of Italian silversmith art.
Elegant and refined even without placing ourselves inside the flowers, it is an object that, placed in a refined and important home, enhances its elegance.
Made in Italy by the silversmith's workshop "L'artigiano del Cesello."
