A trio of blown sommerso glass vessels with a frosted finish by Australian glass makers Kathy Elliot and Benjamin Edols. Each piece of the set is a variation of the organic pod shape crafted in richly colored cobalt blue and green glass. Each vessel is signed and dated by the artists.
The artists who often make pieces in organic forms employ both hot and cold-work methods and incorporate traditional Murano glass making techniques like sommerso and battuto in their creations.

A collection of three vibrantly hued handmade sculptural glass vessels by Berànek with reticulated top edges and vibrant colors with white accents: lime green with white ribbon, blue with white drip lines and blue with white inclusion. Emanuel Berànek started his studio in Czechoslovakia during the war using waste broken glass in peat furnaces.
