Kralik/Loetz White Opalescent Textured Art Glass Vase

About the Item

A very fine quality Art Nouveau Austrian or Bohemian opalescent art glass egg shaped vase with shaped and pinched flower shaped opening attributed to Kralik or possibly Loetz and dating from around 1900. The vase stands on a thick round pedestal foot and has a round egg shaped body with a pinched flower shaped top opening. The body vase is made in opaque opalescent glass with an even textured pattern to the body extending over the base with elements of pearl colored iridescence. The vase has a rough partially polished pontil mark. The vase is not marked but a very fine quality and stunning example. Provenance: acquired in the British art market. In good condition and a wonderful display piece.
