Large 19th Century Viennese Enamel Splendour Goblet with Mythological Decoration

Finest Viennese Silver and Enamel Work from around 1870: Large silver goblet in the form of an amphora: egg-shaped body with a raised, protruding base and a funnel-shaped opening with two raised rocaille handles with plastic dragons and mascarons placed on the lower handle, as well as a mounted silver ribbon with opening decoration with small heads at the funnel base. Corresponding silver outfit centered around the egg-shaped body with applied angel busts on the two visible sides, another, corresponding silver outfit in the standing area of the foot. At the neck of the foot under the egg-shaped body there is a wide band with decorative consoles arranged just next to each other. The entire surface of the cup is decorated with large medallions with mythological scenes in polychrome enamel painting, in between ample arabesque decor with insects, all silver decorations painted in cold polychrome. Elaborate decoration also on the visible inside.
