Late 19th Century Gustave Asch Blue Ceramic Vases Wine Grapes and Leaves

About the Item

Pair of signed and numbered Gustave Asch porcelain vases crafted by Gustave Asch in the late 19th century. Each vase is highlighted with cascading wine grapes, branches and leaves, all gold painted on dark cobalt blue known as Bleu de Tours background. The handles are entirely gilded. Underneath each vase, we can see two Gustave Asch axes: An engraved axe and a gold painted axe for Gustave Asch. These vases are both part of a limited edition series numbered 410.
